Well, it’s been a long journey. We’ve crossed many rivers and travelled many roads together. When the President asked me to go, I couldn’t think of any one else better suited to help me out. We mapped the great plains, and rivers, and learned about America’s native people. We’ve had a lot of books written about us. Who would have known we’d become so famous? Even though our chases and battles always got really violent, it was all done in good fun! Remember when you sliced me in half with a carving knife? I never thought I’d get over that! Or how about the time you slammed my tail in a waffle iron?! Ha ha!, that was a good one. Though I used lots of elaborate traps to catch you, I admit I was no match for your brains and wit. You were always a worthy opponent, and we gave the kids a good laugh on Saturday morning.
